Regardless of whether you want to vacation in our newly renovated City Hotel Merano, at the cozy Flora Hotel & Suites, directly on the spa promenade or at our smooth Villa Laurus in the elegant residential area of Merano – we look forward to being able to start again and welcome you warmly, albeit with a hidden smile or behind secure glass panes.

In line with the recommendations and rules of the authorities, we have tightened the hygiene standards in our 3 hotels and taken our own measures to guarantee your and our safety. Despite all these measures, we try to think sustainably, because that is very important to us.

Our employees’ masks are certified, manufactured in South Tyrol and washable. We attach great importance to frequent hand washing and disinfection, which allows us to limit the use of disposable gloves. Whenever possible, we used real glass instead of plexiglass. And all of our cleaning agents and disinfectants are naturally certified but also gentle on people and the environment. These additional costs are worth nature and health.

Here are some security measures in detail:

GENERAL

• Online check-in: You can send us your login details from home, this way we avoid unnecessary crowds in front of the reception.
• The general distance rules and mask requirement still apply in all public areas.
• No distance rules apply to families or people staying in the same room.

DISINFECTION AND CLEANING

• Highest hygiene standards in all areas: all pubblic areas are regularly cleaned and disinfected.
• Each room will be cleaned with its own cleaning rag and fresh water.
• Special certified antibacterial cleaning agents and additional disinfectants are used for disinfection.
• Critical points such as door handles, elevators, handrails, remote controls, light switches, touch screens, etc. are disinfected even more frequently.

SECURITY IS A PRIORITY

• The P&H Family participates in the pilot project “South Tyrol tests” and has all employees tested extensively.
• The temperature of all employees is measured daily. Our employees work with face masks, face shields or behind glass panes so that everyone is protected in the best possible way. All employees follow a safety and hygiene concept which also includes regular changing of the mask and regular hand washing, or changing gloves after each work unit.
• The temperature of all hotel guests is measured upon arrival. Protective masks and gloves are provided free of charge for all guests if required. Disinfection dispensers can be found in all public areas of the hotels.

GOURMET

• In all 3 hotels, we offer distance guarantee in our restaurants.
• Enjoy your breakfast in the garden outdoors or in your room.
• We spoil you with fresh, regional and high quality products.
• Some plates are served right at the table so you can enjoy breakfast even more. No mask is required at the table in the dining room.
• Room service is possible on request at any time free of charge.

WELLNESS AND FITNESS

• The swimming pools in Hotel Flora and Villa Laurus are open because the virus is not resistant to chlorine. For security reasons, the whirlpools are still closed.
• At the City Hotel Alexandra spoils you with relaxing massages, soothing facials as well as manicures and pedicures. As a protective measure, we ask for face masks and temperature measurement.
• The gym in our City Hotel is open regularly and is regularly disinfected and cleaned.
• The Finnish sauna in the City Hotel is also open again. At the same time, it can be used from all of the roommates in a room or household.
• We provide disinfectants in all public areas.
