  • Wunderbar in Meran:)

    It was the most pleasant stay in the wonderful region of SüdTirol! I address on behalf of my family our gratitude to the owners (family), staff (especially to Alexandra). Special thanks for your attentiveness and kindness (birthday gift). You really managed to feel welcomed at your place. Discretion, professionalism and attention to details. We really hope to return at some point (maybe summertime). We wish a Happy New Year full of success, harmony and prosperity. Alles Gute!

  • pretty place in Meran

    Comfortable room in a quiet neighborhood. Very happy about the pool during that hot day we spent in Meran. Walking distance to downtown about 15 minutes. Very helpful staff and good breakfast selection.

  • Dolce Vita in Merano

    The stay was great. Our group of 13 enjoyed the room, breakfast and all the surroundings. The online check-in software is terribly slow and outdated, you should upgrade it to suit the standard of the hotel.

  • Excellent!

    I felt comfortable. Rooms clean, well maintained and the bathroom modern. Large shower and also storage space. Booked a single room and it was nice that the bed wasn’t just squeezed into the corner, but freestanding. And very comfortable. Great view at breakfast and everything was very tasty… the rolls and pastries stand out. As a vegan, however, not much choice. Buns, fruit and jam. The entire team was very friendly and personable. Pool not used but slightly heated. Very quiet and well-kept facility.

  • Wonderful break

    After I was able to spend such a wonderful time with you 5 years ago, I wanted to do it again. It was great again! The view of Merano, the beautiful roof beams in sight, the friendly staff, the delicious breakfast, always a bottle of fresh water in the room and a welcome plate of seasonal fruit – every wish was fulfilled! Only the carpet shows its age a little. Thank you for the wonderful and relaxing break!

  • Small, nice hotel in a quiet location on the outskirts of Merano

    Very lovingly furnished hotel with beautifully designed gardens and pool. Very friendly staff, tips about the area and things to do are given and are also available. Delicious, rich breakfast buffet. We felt very comfortable, can recommend it and would be happy to come back.

  • Perfect for relaxing

    I was only there for 2 days and can say that my sense of well-being and relaxation was fully fulfilled in the Villa Laurus. I particularly liked the friendliness of the staff, as well as the nicely prepared breakfast buffet, the loving decoration in the house and the small garden with pool and terrace were very inviting. The only thing: to the town center it’s about 15 minutes on foot, so it takes a short 15 minutes walk. All in all a cozy house and I would love to come back again

  • Nice hotel, very good breakfast, very clean

    Were there for 1 week. Very nice rooms with large balconies. Rich breakfast, with fresh fruit, muesli, scrambled eggs. Staff very friendly. Walk-in shower. The only thing missing was a refrigerator in the room and air conditioning. The rooms were very hot in the evenings, the heat couldn’t be gotten out even though the windows were open. Otherwise we liked it. Nice pool, bar. Approx. 1.5 km to the Postal Bridge.

  • A place of peace

    I had a very good time, like every time I come back there, after all. It’s a bit like coming home both for the kindness and friendliness with which you feel welcomed and for the peace and serenity of the place and the entire neighborhood. The walks from the Villa Laurus to the center are a pleasure for the eyes and the soul, among the beautiful streets dotted with gardens, among the songs of the birds and the relaxing flow of the water.
    Everything was perfect from the point of view of the stay, both for the human aspect and for the treatment, care and attention received.

    As during the last three stays, it was once again a wonderful holiday in your villa. We had an excellent rest, no wonder with such great staff. We definitely want to come back, probably at the beginning of May next year. You may be able to send us an offer as early as January. That would be very nice.

    PS: A fridge and a safe in the room would be nice.

    A super nice hotel with a very good breakfast. The only negative thing is that arriving cyclists cannot get into the room at 1 p.m. You know that the cyclists arrive sweaty. ;(

    Pleasant and – above all – clean rooms, delicious breakfast, very friendly staff – it’s a bit out of the way, it’s about a 20-25 minute walk to the city center, free bike rental (the bikes could use a bit of maintenance, though).
    All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

    After a wonderful hike, a crowning conclusion: overnight stay at the Villa Laurus. Relaxing by the pool in the beautiful garden, a nightcap in the bar after dinner (outside the hotel) and a delicious breakfast the next morning made a wonderful trip perfect.

  • An oasis

    The staff was extremely friendly and tried hard to take care of us. The breakfast was very good, and everything was brought to the end. The garden – loungers under the fig tree and all the plants – is an oasis. The only point of criticism: in room 202 the patio door couldn’t be opened because it was broken. Efforts have already been made to find a replacement part, but apparently it will take a while. In this corner room you can also see very well from all other balconies, you can close the curtains and blinds, but that wasn’t so great in this heat wave – without air conditioning – in the evening.

  • Very nice stay with heat pitch

    You really have a very nice house. Well located, fine breakfast, friendly staff, large rooms. Unfortunately we had very hot days. The lack of air conditioning in the room and the rather warm bedding made it difficult to sleep. The fan helped a bit. We would love to come back, but not in the summer.

  • Nice stay in Merano

    We had a very pleasant stay in Villa Laurus. Room and beds were both fine, breakfast more than enough choice. Distance to the center a 10 minutes walk.
    I do not agree with the carparking policy…only a few free spots available and if you arrive later you have to pay for the garage. I suggest that everybody parks free or everybody must pay, seems fair to me.

    Our holiday was a complete success. The hotel is located in a beautiful residential area and we immediately felt comfortable there. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. We had a small balcony where we could sit very nicely in the evening. The garden and the pool were very well maintained and clean. The breakfast buffet was really great and nothing was missing. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I can only recommend this hotel.

    Good afternoon, thank you for the nice days at Hotel Villa Laurus. We felt extremely comfortable. Both in the morning on the terrace with a delicious breakfast, on the lawn by the pool and in the evening with a glass of Lagano in the lobby. The team ensures that their guests have a pleasant stay every day. We will definitely be back!

  • Well maintained and casual hotel in beautiful surroundings

    The well-kept hotel with its beautiful garden, its clean and heated outdoor pool and a large and varied breakfast buffet is highly recommended.

    We were there with two families and all found the days very relaxing and nice.
    The service at the reception was very kind and all restaurant suggestions and pre-reservations made for us were very good, the food was delicious.

    The daily cleaning of the rooms, the pool and the gardens were unobtrusive and good.
    The staff in the area was always very friendly.
    Merano city is within walking distance.
    We will definitely come back.
