    Stayed here after a long cycling trek from the Austrian frontier. It was a welcomed respite and just what I needed. I do not know the name of the woman making coffee at breakfast in the morning but she had the most wonderful smile and made the best coffee.

  • stay at the Flora hotel in summer

    With the three of us we made hiking tour to Bolzano and back to Merano.
    We were pleased that the staff spoke English. The breakfast was fenomenal! We also enjoyed the pool. Because of the hot weather the fan in the room was very welcome. The room was not so big, but we had a little kithenette with a fridge with cool water.
    All togethher a pleasant stay.

  • Like a villa near the center of the city

    I found my staying in Hotel Flora a wonderful experience: ample room, cleaness, kidness of the staff, a special location near the river and very close to the center of the city. I would reccomend it to anyone who would like to come to Merano: I, for one, will certainly return there.

    It’s great what we experienced with you. From the cleaning staff to the service staff, reception, the beautiful furnishings, perfect playground, beautiful garden, the breakfast buffet, it was simply wonderful with you, thank you very much! We will be back! Special compliments to your facility! Such great places to stay in your hotel, everything is so beautifully decorated in terms of design. The selection of food at the buffet, the furnishings in the rooms, you can tell that a lot of clever thought has been put into it. Big compliment!

    We had booked a week in October, room category “Suite Tulip”. Room and entire hotel very clean, beds comfortable, enough storage space in the room, but shower very small (not for very strong guests), shower tray slippery! – Very idyllic location directly on the river Passer with a promenade, but the hotel is next to a garage courtyard, which resulted in a certain odor nuisance from exhaust fumes in the morning. The breakfast was great, the team in the breakfast room and at reception were very friendly and helpful. Conclusion – we would come again

    The location is perfect and the service is very good! The only thing we would like is that parking is free for guests in the parking garage, as the constant maneuvering when you’ve been away and haven’t found a free parking space in the yard or in front of the house is a little annoying. That’s also possible in the City Hotel…

    The Hotel Flora is a few minutes’ walk from the center and the bars. The rooms are very modern and clean, the staff is very accommodating and nice, you just feel comfortable here. We will definitely come back if we are looking for accommodation in Merano.

    We were very satisfied with the hotel room and breakfast, but unfortunately we did not receive a Tyrol ticket for public transport during our stay. We pay tourist tax, but receive nothing in return.

    The rooms are a bit old. Otherwise beautifully furnished. Great pool, nice terrace. Great location – 5 minutes walk into town. Great breakfast. Super Service. Unfortunately there were not served small bites to eat between meals.

    We were there for a week, room Rose was a modern furnished room, staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good and with a large selection.
    Hotel is in a central location just 5 minutes walk from the city.
    Note: bike room too few power sockets for eBikes, room could be a bit bigger with so many bikes.
    We’ll come again!

    We stayed at the Flora Hotel to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Perfect location in a street that flanks the pedestrian street and the river, 5 minutes from the center, excellent service, the reception girls very kind and helpful. Comfortable and quiet room. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning, otherwise it would be perfect

    Very nice quiet hotel with very committed employees.
    We stayed in your hotel for 2 nights at the end of August and felt very comfortable.
    Since I myself work in the management in the hotel industry, I naturally see many things from a different perspective, but I have to say that in this star classification the price/performance ratio was very, very consistent.
    From the CI to the CO, all of the staff were very friendly, helpful, and polite.
    The only note (but not a criticism) the mattresses in our room #330 were a little hard, but it was fine for 2 nights.
    Also a compliment to your HSK team, it was very clean throughout the house.
    Since we didn’t use the room cleaning for the 2 nights, I can’t rate that.

    Everything was very good. The breakfast with the very fresh food and the attentive service, the service at the reception and the perfect room service. Only the great heat in the room was very stressful when sleeping. The provided fan was only able to improve that a little. You are most likely facing the serious investment for AC in the rooms, at least in larger increments. We would be happy to pay more for that. Kind regards to Linda.

    There are no words to describe the beauty and sophistication of this place. Central location and a short walk from the center via the Passirio Promenade. The Sissi paths are spectacular. Attention to detail, cleanliness and welcoming staff. Rich and abundant breakfast, all topped off with the friendliness and smile of the staff. Superb pool and super comfortable beds. For those who love the sound of the river it is nice to fall asleep and wake up with it. We will definitely be back. Thanks for everything. See you soon.

    Thanks for the hospitality. Comfortable hotel for walking into the city center overlooking the river. My husband and I had a good time. Comfortable hotel, very kind and attentive staff, excellent breakfasts with different cakes every morning. Of course it was very hot in Merano and if there had been air conditioning in the rooms and the swimming pool not in the shade but with a solarium it would have been the best. Apart from these two small things, if we go back to Merano I will book the Flora hotel again.

    Hi, I stayed in your hotel with my partner and my 18 month old daughter. We had a great time and are already planning to come back next year. Ideal location, varied and tasty breakfast, friendly staff, clean room, perfect play area for children, convenient internal bike parking. The only advice we feel like giving is if it were possible to make a microwave available to guests also on the -1 floor as we had problems one evening because the child was unwell and we asked for the courtesy of heating up a plate of pasta. But it’s just a suggestion because for us you are a perfect place. Thank you

    We were in the hotel for the first time. The location is perfect near the old town and pedestrian area. Booking and reserving a parking space in the underground car park was great. Hotel modern and clean. Very very nice staff. Very good breakfast buffet. We’d love to come back.

    We booked two rooms for my family and me. Hotel in good location, practically in the center but in a quiet area. Very clean, welcoming and excellent breakfast with a variety of choices. We had a great time, it was a pity that we only stayed for two nights.

    All very nice. Perfect location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable room. I suggest proposing initiatives for children in order to give parents a few free hours. Not having the opportunity to dine gives you freedom but sometimes it would be convenient to be able to stop by even for a simple dinner. However all very positive. We’ll be back

    Pros: The location of the hotel is fantastic, the staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is excellent with everything your heart desires. Everything is very clean and the decor is attractive.
    Negative: The parking situation at the back of the courtyard is unfortunately not optimal and can only be used with a lot of maneuvering (especially the single parking space across the underground car park entrance). The single room is quite small and cramped. It’s ok for 1 or 2 nights, but difficult for a longer stay with hiking equipment.

    Sink and shower in the room is impractical and annoying. Is there a good reason that speaks for it from the guests’ point of view? Anyway, I can’t think of any.

    There are not enough electric sockets in the room. Either the hot water cooker or the refrigerator, the television or the standard lamp get electricity. Not suitable for the fan either.

    Dear employees, UNFORTUNATELY we have only been with you for a short night, because a storm on the day of arrival prevented us from being with you at 6 p.m.
    We really liked our room, the nice nightly service and the breakfast outside by the pool. We will be back in November – we have already booked.

  • Wonderful family vacation!

    We had wonderful relaxing days with you. You can see your efforts to make our stay as pleasant as possible every day. Our room “Tulip” was very comfortable, the blinds are a great advantage when traveling with children. Air conditioning would have been nice as the room gets very warm. Breakfast buffet is top. The underground parking for the car was also excellent. We also liked the playroom for the little guests and the playground. Gladly again with you!

  • Nice city trip

    We stayed at Hotel Flora for 3 days, mainly to explore the city.
    The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk to the city center, which was just perfect, the path leads along the beautiful Passer river.
    Overall, the hotel makes a neat and clean impression, the staff is very friendly, the underground car park costs €12 per day and was very practical for us.
    The reception, the breakfast area and the garden including the pool are modern and bright.
    Our room was large and spacious, and generally clean, although it appears that not the entire hotel has been renovated, just the lower level, our 2nd floor room was noticeably dated and there is no air conditioning. But it was fine for 3 days.
    The breakfast was delicious and there was everything your heart desires, South Tyrolean bacon, eggs, sweets …… and a very delicious coffee!
    All in all a successful short stay!

    We stayed two nights. All very well cared for. Outdoor children’s area with very large garden and swimming pool. The room we had had direct access to the outside. Inside, the breakfast room is very well cared for and very bright. Also appreciated the kids area with games available. Ideal for families. Directly in the center with a walk on the promenade. Points against? Those who are “annoyed” by the flowing water of the river choose something more distant … Very satisfied.

    Hotel furnished in a modern style, very welcoming, extremely well-kept and clean, a few steps from the termal baths and the centre.
    Very nice room on the ground floor with attached, outside, two garden armchairs; kettle with cups and herbal teas very welcome.
    Modern bathroom with large walk-in shower and bidet.
    Outside, a beautiful lawn with a lovely swimming pool and sunbeds available for guests.
    Excellent and abundant breakfast, both sweet and savory, buffet presented with style.
    Very kind and helpful staff.
    Completely satisfied, highly recommend.

    We stayed at the Flora for 4 days in May, but we’ve at least been there 10 times. The staff helpful, friendly, every time we are there. The hotel is very close to the city center and yet quiet, no through roads, right on the pedestrian promenade and on the river.

    We stayed for a week from 9/11/22, room 232, staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good with a wide variety.
    Hotel is in a central location, just 5 minutes walk from the city.
    We’ll come again!

    The downside was that the TV was much too small, and the mattress was very soft or saggy, a topper wouldn’t be bad!

  • Fabulous!

    The Hotel Flora is in a really strategic position, central but at the same time isolated from noise and confusion. The Christmas markets and the thermal baths can be reached in an instant by walking along the beautiful promenade along the river. The cleanliness of the hotel is great and the staff is really kind.
    Even the breakfast is very good with very fresh and genuine foods.

    We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is is situated near the town centre. The room is clean and sizeable, owner and staff are friendly and excellent! If you want a nice clean place to stay that is close and affordable, then this is it.
